Can you do this stucco over existing surfaces for remodel or does it have to be new construction?
Yes, we can apply our products over any existing surface, with equally fine results. However, the project must be
observed carefully and treated with needed prep work. Checking existing surfaces for durability is very important. A
thorough inspection by Old World Collections, Inc is needed in order for us to deliver the best quality and appearance.
Do you travel?
Yes, we are a team of artisans that perform work on selective projects. This enables us to work throughout the country.
Do you use a water barrier?
Yes, we roll on two coats of water proofing membrane before our final coat of natural stucco. Therefore, the amount of
moisture is limited and the substrates (scratch coat and brown coat) are protected.
How well does a natural stucco finish bond to a water proofing membrane?
Before applying the final coat of natural stucco, we spray on a bonding agent.
Does cracking occur in Natural Stucco Finishes?
Any natural cementitious materials will crack. However, this gives the true Authentic appearance our clients are
looking for. Most stucco contractors will use this excuse to get you to use a Synthetic Stucco System. Cracking occurs
in synthetics as well and has an appearance of poor quality stucco.
Do you give a warranty?
We at Old World Collections, Inc know it is fair to repair any damage due to our fault. Your project is our Portfolio.
We offer limited warranty.
How do you achieve the final aged or antique look of your stucco?
Being from Eastern Europe and having traveled, we have carefully studied the art of natural aging. Natural pigments
and finishes have been used for centuries all over the world. It is a mystery as to when our projects were applied,
yesterday or 100 years ago.
Do you have any references?
Of course, we have established a very good relationship with all of our clients. We work closely with homeowners,
architects, builders, and designers to understand their vision. We are successful at sharing ideas and delivering dreams.
